John Titor is a pseudonym used on Time Travel Institute and other early internet boards between 2000 and 2001 by someone claiming to be an American military time traveler from 2036. Hi everyone, I have been reading the posts by Timetravel_0 with great interest. Most of his posts sound very plausible, but I'm too sceptic to believe that he actually is a timetraveler. However, I have too little knowledge to disprove his story. Besides, it's not my intention to disprove anything. Hello, I have decoded the real meaning of the name John Titor: John = John’s Ti = Saint Tor = Tower His name is an anagram of the Saint John’s Tower located in the Vatican City. He claimed to be a time traveler and used this nickname as a reference to John of Patmos, the author of the Book of Revelatio/Apocalypse of Saint John. I was a user of this forum many years ago, my old username is BR_Holden, but I can’t access this account because I don’t remember the password, so I created this new one. Greetings.

Also, I looked it up and Tempus Edax Rerum means: time, that devours all things, which originates from Publius Ovidius Naso known simply in English as Ovid: (20 March 43 BC – 17/18 AD) it seems that John Titor took some inspiration from this famous poet in some way.

It's been YEARS since I dug into John Titor stuff. The last substantive thing I watched about it was John Razimus' investigative documentary about it, but that was long ago. About the John Titor’s Time Travelling Machine. Did John mention anything about how this machine works?, such as: You have to turn on which button so it can make you do something? Cosmo - Can you make the new thread sticky to go with the other two threads? And, yes...I found the HDD and an HDD dock. I hadn't used the dock or that particular disk since 2011. It fired right up with no issues. For everyone, Notice the headers in each post. There are a group of zero.dot numbers. That's where our IPs would appear.
