  1. One last post, this is important enough for a followup. - sometimes I don't like being right. Take note and take heed, this is not the usual rhetoric. As of today, Iran to enrich uranium to higher level: Ahmadinejad Ahmadinejad was more explicit. "By the grace of God, the Iranian nation will produce 20 percent enriched uranium and anything it needs (itself)," he said in a televised speech in the central city of Isfahan. He did not give a timetable. http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSGEE5B023C20091202?pageNumber=1&virtualBrandChannel=0 TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday Israel could not do a "damn thing" to stop the Islamic state's nuclear program, which the West suspects is a front to build bombs. "The Zionist regime (Israel) and its (western) backers cannot do a damn thing to stop Iran's nuclear work," Ahmadinejad said in a televised speech in the central city of Isfahan. http://www.reuters.com/article/gc08/idUSTRE5B12GK20091202 I don't/didn't make predictions very often for a good reason. Some things can change, sometimes that's not the case though. 'And to think some people here thought I was just being a hardliner. There's more to me than that. His announcements were strategically in wait for holding hostages to slam a point home. Read between the lines, ...will produce 20 percent enriched uranium and anything it needs ...a damn thing Cursing in Farsi is not light hearted speech, use analytics in conjunction. Israel aside, without ICBMS not a threat to the West? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8304256.stm Scientists have warned that Iran and North Korea could produce a weapon capable of paralysing Western electricity grids for months or years. Worth being aware of in the very least.
  2. I understand your point. I was just speculating it's easy for anyone to say "you're wrong" without finding the real answer. I'm still waiting for Twillight to come up with an original thought, then he's fair game. That's just not why he's here. I've done my research and read his posts. At least you have duality in your scepticism - there's dangers in some thoughts and I've learned from you in what you contribute. Contribute is a key word, even if it's just a thought :) It takes courage for some people to share their minds and hope to expand an idea, that's the least of my concerns, I'm used to criticism, especially with my form of communication. I've seen most of the people here that question the unfounded - also encourage just as well... you included to say the least. That is in my opinion a great thing, then there's others. Twillight is "an addict" - in a few months, by way of tearing to shreds every post and posting only what is proven..."yay". ;) I'll stop thinking and wait to see what he's got. I feel the need to be enlightened.
  3. Now I understand Twillight. This is from their first post (well technically second, but since it was in response to their first I'll call it first as well...) Once again, it doesn't work that way. Aha how foolish of us... 400 some odd posts and the newest is no different than the first...let's talk simple psychology analytics? Not challenging RMT anymore though huh? I've been kicking around this site since what year? 'Betcha get it wrong ;)
  4. *sigh* ... That was very helpful. I wondered why less people post here now.
  5. I think you're being too hardline on the concept, but that's just my POV. Do a google search about a man raised as a chicken. ;) Quote; When he was found in a chicken coop in 1979, 'Sujit would mostly hop around like a chicken, peck at his food, on the ground, perch and make a noise like the calling of a chicken. He would prefer to roost on the floor to go to sleep rather than sleep in a bed.' So again, what constitutes intelligence without input ? ... it appears our memory banks do require some instruction...
  6. I used to think that perhaps we were being a bit harsh with Iran, and their nuclear intentions. Their intentions are quite clear to me now. They are a paranoid country bent on a military agenda. Enough is enough, I do think they want weapons now. There is no need for these actions that they are learning from the North Koreans. I hope we are monitoring these two countries possible dialogues. If they are trying to intimidate with their military now without Nukes agaisnt civilians, does anyone have a doubt if they will ramp up their actions agaisnt militaries with Nukes? I could be quite wrong, but the pattern seems clear. Their words agaisnt Israel were not a charade. They are delusional. http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE5B01I820091201 lest we forget; http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE5735QE20090808 Two years ago; http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1540429/N-Korea-helping-Iran-with-nuclear-testing.html Do some research on their relations in this regard, that is disturbing. & what does this say about us, think they are laughing yet? http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2009/12/01/korea-north-sergeant-repatriation.html Coincidentally, that is a posted today as well.
  7. Re: Pacific Northwest Earthquakes Next thing you know we'll have someone predict that there will be earthquakes around the ring of fire, with the most substantial located in or around Polynesia. lol. When isn't there ? ;) I've looked at the seismic graphs for over a couple years now, and it's always that same horse shoe lit up like a christmas tree. What gives?
  8. Without thinking too hard about it, my reaction would be to say; Potential factoring, logical deduction, communication, unassisted speculation which stores information in a memory bank and utilizes it in a loop starting over - which over time grows, evolves and uses the same basis to become more complex. Although if comparing human qualities to a machine most would probably say something about emotion which to logical people in terms of efficiency would probably be undesirable in the larger scheme of things to get things done. Some would say to sort through "garbage" is a complete waste of time - no pun intended, though sometimes there was something that could have been recycled...not necessarily useful in it's present form, but with some work can be used nonetheless. As well, I've heard a German Shepherd has the approximate comprehension of a four year old human child, and if you asked most law enforcement officers or military that have them part of their teams, they'd probably tell you that with alot of work and bonding that is a very low approximation. Sometimes "gut" reaction is better than second guessing but then is that not partly a function of instinct? I personally think my only redeeming quality at times when it comes to complex problems or situations that I am perhaps not familiar with, is having an extremely open mind and realizing that, yes, I may very well be wrong. That tends to stop any bias from forming and placing limitations on seeing a larger scope of potential. Bias forming habits are what holds us as humans back in terms of intelligence as a whole at times I would imagine. Though that's just my opinion and it's very open to change :) Is it possible to not have a bias of anything? Probably not, but I'm referring to exploring the unknown or an innovation. Interesting food for thought. Sometimes you guys make my mind very tired, but I usually come away with more than I arrived with, thanks, I mean that.
  9. Very nice visual. Mine would be a fall day when I was in kindergarten going to school out in the country. With no knowledge of fact, science or what's what... The breeze was picking up after a heavy rain on the play ground under an overcast sky - a very large puddle was being rippled like series of waves - constant patterned movement over and over. I remember focusing on the breeze and the water's play together so vividly that it felt like the breeze was moving right through me, and after a movement - I was moved like the water so much that I feel over right into the middle of the large puddle and was soaked right through... That ended the nice feeling lol, teacher asked who pushed me into the puddle, I said "me". I never saw such a confused look on an adult's face.
  10. Re: Not a Stupid Question Welcome to Neverland... well kinda ;) http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2000-03/NS-Cwcb-1403100.php That is a really good way of looking at utilizing vortices...that was back in 2000, since light has been slowed - so did any experiment continue with this? As well if this is taking light and using black hole theory, if the light were a medium of moving information, then if you could utilize the same fashion with the vortex to model white hole theory would that try and send information back/forward, or is it lost no matter what in that sense? (what would happen to entanglement or is that the whole idea???)
  11. I read that when Newton lectured at Uni that no one would show up because they all thought he was nuts. Sometimes he'd be basically talking to a wall.
  12. Some people are more left brain oriented and some more right brain oriented. No one mentioned the hemispheres or how they work together, interesting. Creativity vs. logic = potential vs. known variable calculation? Would anyone buy a painting created and thought of 100% by a machine? 'just curious. (yes I realize just posting "thought of" above will open up critcisms huge, this is in off topic now after all, indulge me - though if a person never thought of the end result...who would we say did?).
  13. Hello. I'm posting here to hopefully gained some expedited insight into what may be construed as belonging in the Science, or New Science forums - however the revelance of my speculation will be apparent shortly I'm sure. "If" anyone here were to fantasically believe it to be possible to derive a pattern of our thought processes, and personality from DNA, where would this most likely reside? (Potentials) I understand that it's potential much like an undeveloped egg laying dormant - and this challenges nature vs. nuture... However, there's two lines of thought with this; I'm wondering on pattern sequencing made relative to a person's overall charateristics which we know very well resides within the DNA just as genetic defects will. If any extremely complex pattern may be derived and then made relative to our conditioning, could we then produce an algorithm to mimic the growth and development process? I'm imagining made relative to be based on two sequences - The sequence determined to hold characteristics of potential then held agaisnt an overall construct which indicates the physco/social averages of normal development. The latter open to manipulation of "fine tuning" for whatever desired outcomes would be sought. Desired, or purposefully held up to trial and error testing. I have no question that the computers we're using would takes ages to calculate, though upon revisiting some hypothetical technologies like SUN's Corona spherical processor architecture we are not far off from being able to perform some very amazing number crunching. Not to mention some of IBM's ideas/technologies. Any ideas or feedback? I understand the possible limitations involved but I'm looking for any insight that could lend to the idea in a positive way (even if it's probability were extremely low to be almost non-existant). Obviously all of our potential is within our building blocks even if undeveloped, though perhaps the question better stated would be what kind of sequencing would give enough unique patterns to then have a base for the creation of an algorithm that's related yet at the same time unique? Or am I making this too complicated and that would all be relying upon the second static sequence as mentioned above to hold the individual unique sequence to run agaisnt? -'And yes I'm sure that there will be those that just post to say how Potentially wrong I am ;)
  14. Kerr, I apologize if it seemed like I was judging or saying something negative in regards to your experiences, not the case at all. The reason for my statement is that after re-reading what I had wrote, I saw the two-fold reprecussion of what I had wrote and was trying to back peddle. As much as I did not want someone as mentioned alienated, I realized that some of our youth may visit this board, and my statements were not an endorsement whatsoever or advice to go forward and wander into such a dangerous realm. I hope you understand.

    When am I

Re:Re:Re:When am I ROFL I kinda' like his humor, lol... Reminds me of my brashness when I was a young piss take. It's nice to see SimonB is still on the board ten years later - changed the nick after server switch? ;)
  16. Re: To Raul Why was the original Formet taken out of Google? I still found it though with a different still existing search DB. If anyone is curious PM me, no friggin' way I'm posting what I'm talking about on a public msg board.
  17. Thank God it didn't look like that I've only seen one accident like that one myself. Pretty similar, only the one I saw was showing the undercarriage with the passenger door where the roof should be. Roof cave in pretty identical, this one's in much better shape. Not to belittle this photo - turns out they didn't survive after some reading. Frame was twisted on the other though, reason for the statement... Took some pictures, too.
  18. My main reason for posting the above is out of concern for the aforementioned. By having others placing this suggestion within his own reasoning and taking it a step farther, he could potentially like many others, end up having side effects such as these; http://www.antidepressantsfacts.com/LongTermSSRI.htm That's not a conspiracy folks, it's actually well put together and updated.
  19. I recently had a member in PM whom I won't name, confess to me he is worried that he may have long term effects from past LSD use which was told to him by others. I've heard this before and thought to clear up a few myths and "debunk" this before we start sending our hippy parent generation to the asylum - let's finally let them retire in peace ;) http://earth.geology.yale.edu/~je84/mystuff/personal/more_personal/dap/lsdlte.html You'll find that most long term "side effects" are quoted from anti-narcotic sources with no evidence to back it up, while they mean well for our children which is great, any misinformation is not so great. Notice the first link is from beyond zero tolerance. Let me make it extremely clear I am not advocating the use, or promoting such in any way, shape or form. Anything ingested picked up off the street can have any foreign substance added to it. Just look at some of the faces of meth users - brake fluid tends to do that I'd imagine  Sad stuff. Here's one you might get a kick out of; http://youtube.com/watch?v=LCM6ldfeCag&feature=related
  20. My main reason for asking about that site was the fact the person is trying to tie the Knights to Icke, I just can't see that.
  21. I don't agree with that. (Among other things). How much you want to wager it's all about the progress and his vision?
  22. I almost thought someone was having fun with me...lol. The only date that corresponds on both sides is extremely personal to me :P haha. As well as the "other" date. Nice. Well whatever....coinci'dinks abound just like my relativity statement ;)
