  1. Steven Gibbs told me that zero divergence time travel is possible, but that he built the HDR to send you to other timelines to prevent it being used to predict horse races or in casino gaming. Also, that there is no Grandfather Paradox as what happens is that your timeline splits into two - the original timeline and a new one.
  2. A tribal chief told a missionary about a noisy silver bird he was seeing. It flew overhead every day around noon. "Oh, not so." said that missionary. He explained that the "silver bird" was a metal 747 jet filled with hundreds of passengers. Also, that the noise was not the sound of its wings. It was the sound of a roaring jet engine. Chief told him that if that were so, these passengers would all come see him, because he was the big chief in that area.
  3. A society with enough technology could generate signals that move across time as well as space. That said, we will soon find out more information when people come forward with the movie extra's name. I have a bunch of old Charlie Chaplin movies. It is not on any of mine. Today's selection is take from http://politicalcalculations.blogspot.com/2010/11/wrong-path.html "In 2010, the median income of U.S. households very likely dropped from the $49,777 recorded in 2009 to a level roughly $2,500 lower: $47,211."
  4. Hi Twighlight: Also, the Lincoln-like president John Titor talked about was not elected that year. This slowed things down for us. However, gathering black clouds means rain is near. At least some people are getting ready and preparing. I have hope that some will survive. That said, nuclear armageddon is very near. http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2010-09/can-you-save-house-end-world
  5. TAKEN FROM http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-10-14/initial-jobless-claims-in-u-s-rose-13-000-last-week-to-462-000.html Imports from China climbed to a record $35.3 billion in August, pushing the trade shortfall with the Asian nation to $28 billion, the highest since comparable data began in 1992. Growing friction over exchange-rate and trade policy dominated discussions at the International Monetary Fund's annual meeting in Washington this month. Right now we have a record trade gap. Don't take my word for it see your local Walmart that has over 90% of items (not food) with MADE IN CHINA on the box, and then tell me that all is fine now. Where are our jobs, not here anymore - they are gone. Tea Party is start of second civil war. Politicians are liars - there is no recovery. Things are getting worse. Expect the city versus country John Titor spoke of to hit soon. Also, for food much higher prices.
  6. Here are some predictions John Titor made that have come. 1) People in future create their own videos [YOUTUBE]. 2) TV over internet [YOUTUBE, HULU] 3) Tubes replace by plasma & LCD [TUBES GONE] 4) Film replace by digital [PHONECAMS] 5) Internet over wireless [WIMAX] 6) Will you readily be able to identify the enemy. They will be the ones arresting and holding people without due process. [PATRIOT ACT] 7) Books and other forms of hard media are distributed on the web. [KINDLE] Still to come. Do companies like Microsoft, Yahoo!, and other internet software companies still exist' No. I am aware of the Mayan Calendar but in 2012, it was not something I was able to think about. When the time comes, I'm sure people will find the signs they are looking for that leads them to the end of time. Are the two political parties still Republicans and Democrats' There are no Republicans or Democrats to speak of. There are now over 10 major political parties. The average temperature worldwide is a bit cooler. Wavering western support for Israel is what gives Israel's neighbors the confidence to attack.

    Invent a test...

Hi Rusty: I believe an earthquake is an event that would fit your criteria because prior knowledge will not stop it from occurring. Also, an asteroid impact would be difficult to prevent, although our military could try to deflect it away. A time traveller from the future like John Titor might have knowledge of major events that will take place in the days to come. These could be used as evidence of time travel or at the very least being a precog.
  8. Debunkers come to this forum to make fun of time travel. They remind me of Terry Jones the man who wants to burn a quran. He freely admits that he has never read one. However, he wants to burn them and says they are evil from the devil. How would he know? It would be one thing if he read one cover to cover. Then he could give his opinion. Debunkers are all about hate and destroying that with which they do not agree. For example, moving threads to the HOAX section that talk about time travel because they claim it is nonsense. I have found that no amount of evidence can convince one. Yeah, they always ask for proof, but no amount of proof can ever be the amount necessary.
  9. Evil debunkers do not believe in time travel. They were smashing clocks to kill some TIME!
  10. I believe time travel is possible. The question is how much evidence do we need to establish proof? For example, if I say the economy is getting worse. However, someone else says we are in a recovery. Who is right, and who is wrong? Can I use this as evidence? Taken from http://apnews.myway.com//article/20100818/D9HM3KHG0.html Democrats are keenly aware that they face strong headwinds; 60 percent of people say the country's headed in the wrong direction. And it's hard to overstate the importance of the economy to voters; 91 percent of Americans say it's a top problem, with unemployment close behind. A whopping 81 percent of people now call the economy poor or very poor, up from 72 percent in June, and just 12 percent say it has improved in the past month, compared with 19 percent in June. Both are record measurements since AP-GfK started asking those questions.
  11. I believe that John Titor lived in Florida and had some idea of what was coming. TAKEN FROM http://www.cnbc.com/id/38572868 "The scarcity of jobs is putting a strain on the economy's fragile recovery from its longest and deepest downturn since the Great Depression." What is going on. TAKEN FROM http://www.cnbc.com/id/38562306/Hornig_The_Oil_Spill_is_The_Least_of_Florida_s_Problems "Take unemployment. Statewide, it ballooned from 3% in 2006 to a peak of 12.3% in February 2010." "Nor has the crash in prices bypassed the Sunshine State. Nationally, fewer than 30% of houses sold for a loss in the past year, compared to nearly 50% in Miami and 65% in Orlando. Many would be sellers are clinging to the cliff edge by their fingernails. Overall, 81% of all Florida loans are under water, with the average mark-to-market loan-to-value ratio standing at 138%. Almost 40% of borrowers are crushed beneath debt of more than 150%"
  12. Re: Just for fun...let's track Web Bot predictions! The web bots speak of a deteriorating economy. Debunkers claim we are in a recovery. With the web bots I tend to agree, things are getting worse. TAKEN FROM http://money.cnn.com/2010/07/30/news/economy/gdp/index.htm?source=cnn_bin&hpt=Sbin "People are continuing to cut back, and that could mean that third-quarter growth will be the worst since the end of the recession," Gault said. "The slowing growth path leaves the possibility of a double-dip recession on the table."
  13. Perhaps there are clues inside the watch, left by the time traveller. It would be interesting to see. :)
  14. Thanks for the info - TimeNot. TAKEN FROM http://www.johntitor.com/Pages/Catastrophes.html When I'm with my parents, I live in a community made up of "tree houses" on a large river in Florida. The river floods sometimes and we have access to the Gulf. I wonder if this is what he was talking about.
  15. Hi esti: I believe that you see an alternate version of your self when you do future remote viewing. Also if you are hypnotized and do a progression as opposed to a regression. The progression shows you potential future lives for you. As for the debunkers, they expect 100% accuracy. Then again, they do not expect 100% accuracy from bowlers, baseball players, or even when playing a dart game. The farther out an event is, the harder it is to hit the bulls eye I say.
