QUESTIONS; DOES TIME MOVE AT A CONSTANT SPEED OR DOES TIME IN THE PAST MOVE SLOWER THAN TIME IN THE PRESENT OR THE FUTURE? WILL TIME SELF ADJUST? DOES TIME MOVE IN A STRAIGHT LINE OR DOES IT FORM AN ARC TO FORM AN EVENTUAL TIME CIRCLE? WILL IT BE THE END OF TIME AS WE KNOW IT WHEN THE CIRCLE CLOSES? O_o

I believe time is the measurement of a universal speed at which matter exists. If my atoms move at the same rate yours do (and everyone else on the planet), we all see time at the same speed. This might be different for other types of matter, or in other parts of the universe. Certainly it would be different around strong gravitational fields.

As far as the circle idea, I find it very unlikely that time itself, being only a measurement, should take on a property like that. But, since matter is tied to time-- in that matter travels over a distance in a period of time, you could be asking if the universe will collapse on itself. Of course that is a common theory, but I still don't buy it.

Time as you call it can not be measured as for it is not fully understood to begin with. "Time" is simply created to date existance and evolution.

Ask simple questions:

"When" did time comence?

How did time comence?

Why is time existing?

Who invented time?

Time is a factor that humans use to understand evolution. what if you were told that what you consider "time" is in fact simple trivial expanse of mass!

"When" did time comence?

- When the first particle/object existed and moved over a duration of time. If every particle in the universe were to come to a dead stand-still, there would be no measurement of time.

How did time comence?

- A better question would be, "how did the first particle come into existence, and why did it start moving?"

Why is time existing?

- The same reason objects are moving.

Who invented time?

- The forces that act on objects that cause them to move about.

To a certain extent you are correct, although time was not created by a particle that started to move in "space". Time is a human factor here.

"time" does not have the same significance anywhere. Thus can not be generalized by human calculation.

What is persived as an hour here could be months in another planetary system. While orbiting Mars "time" is not exactly the same as when you are orbiting Earth but humans calculate it the same way none the less!

AlienChild,

Call it what you will. Regardless of the units used to calculate "time," there is an overall logic to the idea that particles do move over a definable amount of space in a definable duration of "time." Any intelligent being that cannot place a definition on this concept would not be very observant.

Please explain this in a way that actually makes sense. So how is time a "simple trivial expanse of mass"?.

So are you pretending to be an alien again after you admitted to being a hoax before?

That is because time is RELATIVE. Maybe you should read up on Relativity, you know, Einstein? For example, light does not travel faster in different areas of the galaxy, it is a constant. Therefore the time it takes to travel a specific distance is the same nomatter where it is.

Light can not be a constant, once bent it does not travel at same speed. Einstein was almost right.

My understanding is that a photon is still going to travel at C regardless if it is bent by some major gravity source such as a nearby star. It may mean the light has to travel Further and thus Longer to reach the same distance, however its acceleration would be constant at C. Change in acceleration being a change in speed or direction, this case direction is altered but not speed.
