I treat the Titors of this world with even more suspicion than with those who are just bored or whatever and make up some ridiculous story that is patently lies from the start.

I don't know if RainMan and some of the other sceptics were around when Titor was doing his hoax....I myself did not see it all till about a year later.....but my own view is that Titor would never have got off the ground had there been a few more scientifically knowledgeable people about at the time. Titor very much relied on NOT being questioned too thoroughly.

Oh the fanmail is exhausting with praise!

Just the fact that you asked such a naive question clearly indicates that you have no such training. Then you added the asinine quip that intelligence gathering has nothing to do with physical investigation, further indicating that you have no such training.

You're a special operator who doesn't read, write or speak the local language, you have no current intel on your intended AO and your're tasked to walk into hostile territory? Are you sure that your handlers like you, even a teensie little bit? Is your wife (GF) having an affair with your handler? I only ask because you're a deaf, dumb and blind dead-man-walking with a one-way ticket to Pakistan. As a special operator tasked to gather intelligence you're worthless as equipped. What they didn't tell you is that the real special operator will be in the same AO, fully trained and briefed. You're the throw-away delta fox distraction (and eventually the entertainment) for the locals.

I think that the problem with your thread is that sometime last week you became about as bored with it as I became with it on Day 2.

Since I've never done any investigation, I can't tell you what areas it applies to. But as far as an incident taking place, the small percentage of (practically nonexistent) testimony that I might possibly need will be provided by a translator from the government. I think I already mentioned that fact. I think I also already mentioned that most places of c.high school education know English.

Edit: If you're talking about trying to figure out what caused the incident, like type of bomb, etc, then yes, I would know what to look for and expect. For example, incindiery bombs do not make deep craters, because their purpose is not to make a blast but to cause a fire. Rockets and missiles leave pieces of the wreckage imbedded in the crater, whereas bombs (exploded from underneath) don't. All I need to do is try to find pieces of the wreckage (which would be Uplifting!) and if not, get specifics as to what it is. I suspect the reason I was sent so late is because of the tenuous situation in the previous year.

Also, anyone who doubts this, can still check out the stuff I've mentioned in my first post: specifically the assassination of the Russian service-man, and the airplane crash, and the earthquake. I looked them up, it seems the earthquake one happened before I came to the forum.

Those qualifications make Ralph2 a perfect operative: you'd never suspect him.

On rereading this it occurred to me that I did read the story of a C.I.A. operative with something of the same background (I can't remember now the name of the supposed true story). A university student was recruited by everyone's favorite spy org. and his first orders were to cause a scandal that would get him expelled from college. If they think you're a troublesome loser, you sort of fade into the great unwashed multitude of sheeple.

In Ralph 2's case, maybe posing as a bankrupt Bulgarian goat merchant would be a pretty good cover.

You can ask me anything about Varna, Bulgaria.

I'm very disappointed that I'm disinteresting to you :( ...I guess it's not very interesting to get ropes and photo apparats.

By the way, to Pamela: I found the book you were talking about, The Time Slip, or I forgot what it was called a few weeks ago at my former (future?) university. But after the 2nd paragraph it got wayyy too boring to read, sorry :(

I'm still waiting for you to explain why there is no mention anywhere of your alleged bomb incident in 2008. The trouble with you hoaxers is you just blindly carry on regardless.....hoping that there's still someone around dumb enough to believe your BS.

That wasn't the only incident, it was simply the major one they always pointed out. The last straw was some similar incident a few weeks prior to the start.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Major one ? So major that a Google search returns.....NOTHING ??

'Bali bomb' as the exact phrase returns 47,000 results. 'Aba Khel bomb' returns......zero.

I tried various permutations.....but could not find a SINGLE web page that referenced ANY bomb in Aba Khel.....let alone a major one.

In reply to:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry you can't find it?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What part of ' I can find no reference' didn't you understand ? Perhaps you could explain why rather than question my question.

AGAIN points out that there is not a single reference to any such incident anywhere on the net.

-A plane will crash either before or in December 2009, somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere, I don't remember where, but it was a major event and it will kill about 50 people

A plane crash that kills only 50 people isnt a major thing these days (sad to say). Theres been many plane crashes with more casualties (personally i think just 1 life lost on any plane is a major event).

http://www.inquisitr.com/44141/explosion-near-san-juan-puerto-rico/

This particular link doesnt say 50 people killed though others sources do and there is a plane missing in this mess.

I dont want to say this isnt a major event but the blaze, smoke and damage appears to be huge so i dunno.

Other sources are speculating possible terrorist possibilities.

I do believe now would be an appropriate TIME to review a few of this "time traveler's" failed predictions...

All I can do is offer major events, in a verifiable time-frame (less than 6 months):

-Gas Prices will hit $4 for the first time in January 2010

This was Dead On Arrival, since the price of gas first reached above $4/gal when I predicted it would.... June of 2008.

-A plane will crash either before or in December 2009, somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere, I don't remember where, but it was a major event and it will kill about 50 people

Nope. At least not yet. But of course, one could stretch the "before December" part all the way back to February 2009, when the commuter airplane crash happened on approach to Buffalo. It killed 50 people. But that would hardly make it a "prediction of the future" since this thread was started on SEP 21, 2009!

-A big earthquake in Israel before the end of 2009.

Again, nope...not yet. But we will all be keeping an eye out in the next 9 days...

-I think some politician, either in Russia, or the US was killed before 2009, but don't quote me on that.

OK, we won't quote you on it...but we will hold you accountable for total BS that was not even close to being correct.

-Do you make a point of making others who don't agree with you repeat themselves?

I honestly don't know which one it would be.

--------------------------------------------

I finally asked a few clerks at the base to send me something like a short history book:

-January 7, 2010: meteor damages a big factory in Russia (Chechnya)

-January 23, 2010: Bomb found on plane in England

-March 19, 2010: Iran makes a peace treaty with Israel, and essentially agrees to enter as Israel's ally in its conflicts

World Politics: Russia and China continue to make allies throughout Asia and the Middle East in hopes of making a balance of power versus the US. The Iranian government has made "peace" with Israel only to enter a conflict with it as its ally, and then claim foul play on Israel and declare war, which of course won't go without UN/US intervention.

How about none of them, since you were just throwing out a vague guess? That and you are a poor hoaxer.

Don't know whether you are bold or just not-so-bright. But these will readily be falsified, I am fairly sure... especially the last one.

So how about telling us the date that China finally decides to take back Taiwan by force?

Well, Ralph's first of his latest predictions is coming due today:

-January 7, 2010: meteor damages a big factory in Russia (Chechnya)

As I type this, it is approaching 5:30PM in the time zone that contains both Moscow and Grozny. Nothing in the news no matter how many combinations I use of "meteor, Chechnya, Russia, damage, factory".

Not much time left, but then again did any of us actually believe Ralph's WAG would be a hit?

Meanwhile...

While Ralph's prediction for today is failing, here in the USA we hear of 3 people being shot in a transformer factory in St. Louis.

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/07/factory.shootings/index.html

One would think that if Ralph contacted "a few clerks on the base" to send him some history, especially if it was from this day, that they would have selected this story... because certainly this one story is going to shape the majority of the newsday here in the USA.

Epic Fail.

Does that happen before or after Elvis Presley is found alive and well at Area 51 following a resonance cascade in the interdimensional time vortex created by scientists working on the Roswell crash debris ?

Hello all. well, I barely found my thread, after logging off yesterday, and coming back today, it wasn't there at all.. and when I looked for it, it was at page 3. I realize I've accidentally jumped a year into the future, I obviously haven't accomplished my mission, since I've just appeared a year later..

Apologies for the incorrect forecasts, they didn't have dates on them, and I assumed they would follow up the next year. That goes for the Iran-Israel treaty, which no one in their right mind could probably suggest to happen these days. no, not unless Israel conquers Iran and makes them do it.. (or vice versa! haha). Surely I would have talked about Haiti about January 2010, if it were the right year. But no, more discussion of my mission, no point in telling one about it, when everyone seems to think I'm not from the future. How about I tell you what will happen tomorrow and before the month is over? New Year's? January?

Thursday, December 30, 2010 - Several more bodies found in Michigan explosion

Friday, December 31, 2010 - Yet another bomb explodes in Europe!

January, 2011 - Last American WW1 Veteran dies.. days shy of his 110th birthday, a shame (no date)

January, 2011 - Obama slowly fixing economic (health bill, etc) crisis.. ultimately the issue becomes lulled, and no one really gets any credit for the governmental fix

In the middle/most of January next year, we will see a rise of terrorism in Southern and Southwestern/eastern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece etc).

and for the New Year's: yeah you guessed it man dies in Boston due to accidental gunfire (big surprise there :-/ ), which will ultimately lead to gun law control, laws arresting anyone in sight in public with a firearm around New Year's and major holidays, charged as "assault with a deadly weapon" (that's what this thing says, but can that be legal to be charged like that?? :-| ) :-)) . happy new year to all of you too! :)

Hello again Ralphy!

Nice to have you back, hope you'll pick up where you left off.

Couple questions;

"Accidently went forward a year in time", mind explaining how that happened?

And I beilieve you are referring to this veteran, correct; Last WWI Veteran turns 109

Now I'm gonna go brush up on your story and get back to you later!

Yawn.

Thursday, December 30, 2010 - Several more bodies found in Michigan explosion

Because you read the same initial report on the blast that I did, which talked about the fact that at least two people who worked there were known missing.....NOT because you are a time traveler.

Friday, December 31, 2010 - Yet another bomb explodes in Europe!

Can't even pin it down to a city? You mean to tell me that your news report that you got from your buddies only says "bomb explodes in Europe" but does not even mention which country, much less which city? Journalism continues its downward trend, I see... or, you are not a time traveler, but instead are shotgunning what you hope will happen?

January, 2011 - Last American WW1 Veteran dies.. days shy of his 110th birthday, a shame (no date)

Will you pay for his funeral if he lives into Feb?

January, 2011 - Obama slowly fixing economic (health bill, etc) crisis.. ultimately the issue becomes lulled, and no one really gets any credit for the governmental fix

So he will have it all wrapped-up by the end of January, eh? Wow, you are pathetic. Could you be even a bit more creative in what you make up?

In the middle/most of January next year, we will see a rise of terrorism in Southern and Southwestern/eastern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece etc).

Again, cannot even quote one event? One city? One date?

I hope you are proud of yourself. I wouldn't be.

Moreover:

Given that it is not the typical tornado season in the middle of the US right now, it would have been even more impressive if you had told us about the tornado that touched down in Arkansas today, rather than shotgunning "yet another bomb explodes in Europe". (Which I am still waiting on hearing today)

Friday, December 31, 2010 - Yet another bomb explodes in Europe!

It would seem from the following story:

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/12/31/explosion-hits-egypt-church-injuries-reported/

1) That you got the date wrong (1 JAN and not 31 DEC)

2) And you got the continent wrong (Africa and not Europe)

But gosh, golly, gee....other than those two "minor" screw-ups, your prediction came true!!!
