ddelaney
I remember seeing a show when I lived in the UK (I don't remember whether it matters, it was on BBC, but I am not sure if it was a BBC produced show). They were talking about time travel with various experts - and there was a man on it that said the possibility to time travel was through a 'drawing', he showed the "escher-like drawing" (from what I remember, it looked like a stating that a set of boxes that got smaller as they went towards the middle of the picture) saying that we could time travel through this art/painting/drawing - but for the life of me, I can't remember the name of the man or the show. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
Darby
dd, I'm not familiar with the show but if it was a physicist and he liked to use Escher's art for illustration it may well have been astrophysicist-cosmologist Dr. Richard Gott of Princeton University. He often uses Escher's art to make his points.
ddelaney
Thanks for the reply, but it was a younger man with the drawing. He was an artist, and they showed his workshop. It is driving me crazy not remembering the show or the content!
