My question is how do you teach molecules the concept of time? after all molecules are responsible for brain functions......and its interpretaion of time....who's right? the molecule? or the "higher being"? (us)

Aware of time? Perhaps not, if it is a Nature of the Universe, that was put here by a Creator.

The particles would not know the difference but the inate nature would be a property that may one day come to light. First it is not thought of that way, and until thinking changes and proof comes along, it can be anyone's guess.

Humans have an ability about time, just ask your mother once. It can be used just like clockwork. Anyone with such habits in the Past, may just have always gotten up at Dawn or at a certain time without needing an alarm clock to ring. So in a sense that is an awareness of time, but it also takes time to develop it. Somewhere else in the Universe, all that habit of time forming may not even work, because the time there in that place in the Universe would be different. There are frequencies though, and that also can be thought of as a time reference of sorts.
