Three Dimensional Spectral Data Transmission My idea is to translate the thousands of colors in a cube or cylinder of light into data to send enormous amounts of data in a single pulse. When we talk about color we are generally talking about a very narrow band of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum - visible (to humans) light. The different frequencies is the information. It could be binary bits, pictures, voice, music, TV, radio, whatever. Manipulate the EM radiation and you can pretty much do what you wish with the amount and type of data contained in the light. While not entirely related, using colors to solve complex functions is something that was done by (Linked). The same concepts could be potentially applied here.
