This is my idea of three dimensional spectral data transmission.Three Dimensional Spectral Data TransmissionMy idea is to translate the thousands of colors in a cube or cylinder of light into data to send enormous amounts of data in a single pulse. It would not be fiber optic. See article. Thoughts?

Good job, Paula.The "colors" in light are different frequencies. When we talk about color we are generally talking about a very narrow band of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum - visible (to humans) light. The different frequencies is the information. It could be binary bits, pictures, voice, music, TV, radio, whatever. Manipulate the EM radiation and you can pretty much do what you wish with the amount and type of data contained in the light.

My thought was that we can create millions of colors, thus we have the ability to send potentially an unlimited amount of data at once.

While not entirely related, using colors to solve complex functions is something that was done by

(Linked). The same concepts could be potentially applied here. Bandwidth can also be increased by twisting the light.
