Multiple worldline theory

One of the first concepts I personally feel that a time travel newbie should learn is concerning the Multiple Worldline Theory, also called The Multiple Timeline Theory.

But first, some definitions.

Theory - a hypothesis; a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained. In other words, it is an idea that hasn't been proven. When proven in science, it becomes a law.

Worldline - The google definition is: a curve in space-time joining the positions of a particle throughout its existence.

Wikipedia calls it the path of an object. So, basically, it is a path of time. I think the definition is debatable, so please feel free to give your own thoughts about this.

Now, in my own words, the Multiple Timeline Theory suggests that each time we make a decision and/or each time we time travel, a new timeline is created. Yes, this would create infinite timelines as there are inevitably infinite possibilities.

This theory negates the possibility of a paradox because, for example, if you go back to kill Hitler, you are only doing so in that timeline, not your original home timeline.

Some people believe that a time traveler cannot go back to his original timeline. I feel that maybe in the far future, technology will be developed so that the person can.

Thoughts? Questions?

From ones own perspective, multiple worldlines exist for everything except yourself, in which case only one path exists. So you can travel to and from your world line, as a single destined path. However, your decisions create different world lines for everyone else's perspective. Likewise, you are on a worldline that is altered by others, but since it is the only one you know of, you do not scramble your mind thinking of all the possibilities. The subconscious grounds us and allows our chronological memory to exist. Study mental disorders to find out secrets of time travel.
